Illustrations for the book, The Amautalik and the Orphan, published by Inhabit Education and based on a traditional Inuit story. The artwork was designed to be both animated and published in print so the overall style and character designs reflect that dual purpose. Each significant element in the artwork was drawn on a different layer to provide flexibility for the animator.
